Florida Boys and Girls, join us

Remember the 2006 Veterans Day Parade

We are going to do it again. Thursday, Nov 11, 2010, 1000 hrs.
The 202nd Red Horse Squadron will be bringing in the heavy equipment and we would like you to participate in the Parade also. There will be a Deuce and a half with seats for the non-walkers and plenty of room for the walkers. It is about a mile long parade and it’s the largest Veterans Day Parade in the SE United States. Some of us have WWII jeeps and other vehicles; please bring them and other military type stuff. The 202nd will be bringing a Half-Track from the Museum at Camp Blanding.
The theme of the Parade is:
“Honoring World War II Veterans, the Greatest Generation”

Parade will be in Inverness, FL.
Please RSVP to

We will be meeting around 5:00 pm at the VFW Post 7122 in Floral City the night before the parade. There will be Wings, steak sandwiches and other food cooked by our very own Bubba. Also Karaoke and good camraderie.
VFW 7122 is 1/2 mile south of the light at the corner of US 41  and SR 48 on US 41. The 202nd Red Horse will be there in full slate. We met with them yesterday, 1 Oct.
